Returns & Exchanges

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

  • We do not accept returns for change of mind.
  • Please ensure you carefully read the product description for each product, including delivery time-frames, as we do not offer returns for any reason, unless the product is deemed faulty (see below).
  • Sale, Clearance and Discontinued items are discounted items and are not eligible for return/exchange or refunds.
  • We do not offer refunds for candles or dried/preserved flowers.
  • We do not offer refunds or cancellations on Pre-order, Made-to-order or Furniture items. 

  

REFUNDS

  • Please review your cart before checkout. We do not provide refunds for change of mind, nor if you ordered the incorrect product.
  • We do not offer refunds for sale, clearance or discontinued items.
  • We do not offer refunds for candles or dried/preserved flowers.
  • Once your items are in the hands of our couriers, any delays or incidents that occur are outside of our control. Sun Republic is not responsible for items that are lost or damaged during shipping, nor courier shipping delays. Therefore a refund will not be provided. Please refer to our 'SHIPPING' tab for further information.
  • In the unlikely event that a product is unavailable, we reserve the right to cancel your order prior to dispatch. We will contact you by email as soon as possible to advise you if this is the case. You may choose to have a store credit or a refund to the value of the unavailable product.

 

FAULTY ITEMS

  • Faulty products are handled on a case by case basis. If you receive a faulty product, please contact us within 24 hours of receipt of goods, preferably with an image of the fault. Upon return, we will inspect the product. If the product is deemed faulty, you will be notified, and we will arrange a replacement. Please note that we cannot guarantee an identical replacement, as all products are unique. If the exact product is no longer in stock, a credit note will be offered. 
  • As many of our pieces are hand crafted, each item will have slight variances in colour, size and shape. Naturally occurring variances in the product such as colour variations, wood knots, minor splits or cracks in timber are part of the character of the product and are not deemed as product faults. 
HAND-MADE
  • Please note that the majority of products are handmade from natural materials which gives them a unique look and feel. Beads, timbers, grasses, cottons, dye's and timbers are natural products are not identical and will will have 'handmade characteristics'. No two pieces are identical, which is what makes hand crafted items so special. For this reason, you should expect your handmade product to look slightly different from the image on the website. We do not provide refunds for pieces that you expected to look different.
  • Our shell décor are all individually handmade and slight variances in shape and size occur from piece to piece. This is to be expected, and we do not accept returns or exchanges on these items.
  • Alang Alang (Seagrass) pieces are a natural grass and thus have a greenish tinge when first made. As these pieces dry out they become more of a natural brown colour. This is to be expected, and we do not accept returns or exchanges on these items.
PRE-ORDER & FURNITURE ITEMS
  • All pieces available for pre-order will say so on the product description. Please ensure you read the product descriptions carefully. Pre-order items take between 8-12 weeks to be delivered, depending on when you order.
  • Pre-order and furniture items cannot be returned for change of mind, and the order cannot be cancelled.
Proceeding with purchase means you have read and agree to our return, exchange and refund policies. 

We do pride ourselves on our customer service and will do our best to work with our customers on a case by case basis. If you do find yourself in a situation where you require to cancel your pre-order or Furniture piece for an unforeseen reason, we do appreciate that circumstances change, and are happy to discuss.

In the event we accept your cancellation, a restocking and administration fee will be charged (10%) and a store credit given.
