At Sun Republic, we take great pride in offering high-quality, handcrafted furniture and home décor designed to last.
Each piece is made with care by skilled artisans, using premium materials and finishes.
Our warranty applies to all eligible products purchased within Australia and is provided in accordance with the Australian Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Australian Consumer Law).
Warranty Coverage
Our warranty covers manufacturing or material defects under normal residential use for the following periods:

Indoor Furniture (Residential Use Only): 1 Year

Outdoor Furniture (Residential Use Only): 3 Years
– Includes synthetic weave, framework, and welds
– Excludes outdoor fabrics and cushions
If your product is found to have a genuine manufacturing defect within the warranty period, we will repair or replace it at our discretion.
Warranty Exclusions
Our warranty does not cover damage or issues arising from:
- General wear and tear, including stains, marks, and scratches from daily use
- Improper care or cleaning, including the use of harsh chemicals, bleaches, or abrasive cleaners
- Environmental damage, such as prolonged sun exposure, moisture, or temperature extremes
- Misuse or accidents, such as dragging, dropping, standing on, or placing heavy objects on furniture
- Modifications or repairs made by unauthorised parties
- Electrical faults caused by incorrect usage or accessories
- Normal variations in appearance, texture, or finish inherent in natural materials
Natural Material Disclaimer
Many Sun Republic pieces are crafted from solid timber, natural rattan, stone, and concrete — materials that naturally expand, contract, and evolve with time.
- Natural characteristics such as:
- Hairline cracks or minor movement in timber
- Variations in grain, colour, or texture
- Subtle finish differences between items
…are not faults, but hallmarks of authentic craftsmanship. These organic traits are part of what makes each piece beautifully unique and are not covered by warranty.
Collections Excluded from Warranty
Certain handcrafted collections made in Indonesia, India, and Africa are not covered by a formal warranty, due to the natural and handmade nature of their materials. These include:

These pieces are individually handcrafted using natural materials.
Slight irregularities, texture variations, and environmental adaptation over time are expected and celebrated as part of their charm.

General Terms
- The warranty applies to residential use only and is non-transferable.
- Warranty claims are valid only for manufacturing or material defects, not general wear or misuse.
- Freight and return costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless otherwise agreed.
- Products sold as seconds, floor stock, clearance, or sale items are not covered under this warranty.
- For items repaired or replaced under warranty, the original warranty period still applies.
Making a Warranty Claim
If you believe your item has a manufacturing defect:
- Email hello@sunrepublic.com.au within 24–48 hours of noticing the issue.
- Include your order number, a clear description, and photos of the fault.
- Our team will assess your claim and guide you through the next steps.
If deemed a manufacturing fault, we’ll arrange a repair, replacement, or store credit at our discretion
