Furniture Pre-orders + Made-to-Order

We value quality and individual craftsmanship over mass production and as a small business, we work largely to a pre-order model on our furniture collections to ensure our footprint is as light as possible when it comes to our manufacturing, warehousing and shipping.

We work closely with our small community of authentic, traditional, local and International artisans, investing in our commitment for ethical sustainability in small batch production to create unique, timeless and individual hand-crafted pieces. 

We encourage you to contact us with any questions, further support or advice you may require before placing an order.

If you wish to find out if a particular piece is in stock or have any questions regarding products, timeframes, shipping, pre-order or custom made-to-order pieces, please contact us via our 'Chat box', Contact page or direct email hello@sunrepublic.com.au prior to ordering.

We do stock a limited number of furniture pieces in our factory, however we do not hold every piece, colour, size and variation of furniture in our warehouse. In most cases furniture pieces are pre-ordered items. So please keep in mind when you order a furniture piece, in most cases it will be a pre-ordered item and can take up to 10-12 weeks.

Once you have selected the size and finish of the item you would like to purchase please take into consideration the dispatch time frame displayed in the product listing, or has been given to you upon your pre-purchase inquiry.

If the item is in stock at time of your order, it will be dispatched within our normal time frames. If the item is on order with our manufacturers and due in at a later date, the estimated arrival time will be listed in the product description. 

If the timeframes do not suit you, please do not order. Pre-ordered Furniture and custom made-to-order pieces are not eligible for cancellation or refund. 

Sun Republic offers Australia Wide shipping on all collections. Our furniture collections are 'not available' for International shipping at this time. 

Free Shipping is applicable to orders over $180. * This offer however does not apply to Furniture, Concrete Collections, Large/Bulky items such as Oversized Pendants, Floor Pots & Vessels, due to their size, weight fragility, care and handling required to freight *.

A separate invoice for shipping to your location will be provided after checkout on all Furniture, Concrete Collections, Pendants, Large, Oversized and Fragile pieces, unless you have contacted us prior to you purchase for a shipping quotation. 

Understanding Lead Times

In stock, ready to ship: If your item is in stock, once your order has been placed and paid for, including your shipping payment, it will be processed by our team and prepared for dispatch within our normal time frames.

Once your order is ready for dispatch and awaiting pickup by our courier partners, you will receive an email with your shipping details and tracking number. 

We endeavour to inspect, pick and pack all items ready for dispatch within 2-3 business days, unless your order contains pre-ordered, custom or made-to-order pieces.

Product availability lead times are listed in the individual product listing. As designs very often sell out prior to arriving into our warehouse, we do recommend you consider making your purchase as soon as possible to avoid delays.

Available to pre-order: If your item is available to pre-order this means it is currently out of stock, and will be dispatched to you once new stock arrives. Once your item has arrived your order will be processed by our team ready for dispatch.

Delivery times vary depending on your location. Manufacturing and Shipping timeframes are estimates only, given to us by our artisans, suppliers, manufactures and shipping carriers. Shipping delays do sometimes occur and are out of our control, as we are at the mercy of shipping company, ports and customs.

Some of our larger furniture pieces may be shipped directly from our artisan/manufacturers, to reduce shipping costs, avoid double handling and our carbon footprint.

Furniture Collections: Furniture purchases are final and are not eligible for cancellation or refund.

Pre-Order meaning we do not hold stock, made to order meaning the item is custom made for you.

Furniture definition: Including but not limited to floor mirrors, floor vessels, lamps, lighting/pendants and all other furniture items such as tables, chairs, stools, bedheads & bed frames, cabinets, wardrobes, consoles, entertainment unit, sideboards, bench seat, sun lounges, cabanas and sofa's.
