At Sun Republic, we strive to make receiving your order as simple and convenient as possible. Please note that shipping costs are separate from product prices. Here’s what you need to know about our shipping process:

Australia-Wide Shipping

We offer Australia-wide shipping on all collections, ensuring our products reach customers across the country.

Free Shipping

Enjoy free shipping on homeware orders over $250. This offer excludes furniture, fragile items (e.g., vessels), and oversized items (e.g., framed art, large baskets) due to their special handling requirements.

Shipping Costs (for standard-size parcels)

$10.99 for orders up to $30 (up to 1kg)

$15.99 for orders between $30 - $70 (up to 3kg)

$17.99 for orders between $70 - $250 (up to 3kg) Note: Excludes large, bulky, or furniture items.

Courier & Third-Party Delivery

We partner with reputable couriers like Couriers Please, StarTrack, and bulky goods freight carriers to ensure the best prices and reliable delivery for our customers. 

Uncontrollable Variables

Factors such as distance, shipping speed, package weight, size and carrier pricing policies influence shipping costs. These variables are beyond our control, and we aim to offer you the best possible rates based on these factors.

Dispatch 

Once your order is ready for dispatch, you will receive an email with your shipping details. For homewares and decor orders sent via standard courier, you will be provided with a tracking number so you can easily monitor the progress of your parcel. However, please note that furniture orders are dispatched via specialist freight logistic companies or furniture removal specialists and do not have tracking numbers. The courier driver will contact you directly on the mobile number you have provided at checkout prior to your delivery.

Lead Times

In-Stock Items: Dispatched within 1-3 business days.

Pre-Ordered Furniture: 10-12 weeks. If your order includes both in-stock and pre-ordered items, the shipment may be held until all items are ready. Additional charges apply for split deliveries.

Estimated Delivery Times

Metro Areas: 3-7 business days after dispatch.

Rural & Regional Areas: 9-15 business days after dispatch.

Peak Periods: During sales and peak periods, please allow an additional 4-5 business days for dispatch.

Additional Charges

Customers in WA, SA, NT, TAS, and remote areas may incur additional surcharges and extended delivery timeframes. For large or oversized pieces, a separate shipping invoice will be provided after checkout. Contact us for a shipping quote before purchase.

Furniture Delivery

Furniture, pendants, vessels, mirrors and oversized items  a separate shipping invoice will be provided after checkout. Our team compares various freight options to ensure the most competitive and cost effective price for the items to be delivered to your location. 

Furniture and larger items, our couriers deliver to your door only, and assistance may be required. In some cases your item may be delivered on a pallet. We always recommend having someone on hand if you think you may have trouble moving your goods into your home alone. 

We have a highly efficient logistics system that presents you with the cheapest available carrier for your chosen item(s) for your delivery area. Unfortunately due to the cost of transport around Australia sometimes these charges can be quite high for large, heavy and bulky goods. We are always working with our delivery partners to try and improve these costs and services.

Sun Republic is not responsible for any furniture or large items that do not fit into your house, apartment, lift, leading to your property, stairways, corridors, doorways or any other obstacle that could cause a problem on the day of delivery, and we will not refund or exchange if this occurs.

It is your responsibility

To ensure the goods purchased will fit into the nominated property; this includes but is not limited to property access, stairs, lifts, doorways etc.

To be present at the agreed day of delivery, and allow access to the driver.

On delivery, to check the condition of packaging, and examine the goods before signing and or accepting the goods.

Concrete Furniture

Our concrete furniture is delivered in protective wooden crates to the front door only. Please have the necessary tools and help to uncrate and move your items upon delivery. Extra assistance is recommended due to the weight and nature of these pieces.

Direct Payment to Carriers

Shipping charges are not part of the product's purchase price. They are an additional cost that covers the transportation of goods from our warehouse to your location.

Shipping costs are paid directly to the shipping carrier for their service. These costs are independent of the product price and cover the logistics of delivering your order safely and efficiently to your doorstep.

Non-Refundable Nature

Once paid to the shipping carrier, these fees are non-refundable. This means we cannot reclaim these costs, even if an order is returned or cancelled.

Fragile Shipping 

Fragile items such as vessels, vases, and glassware are carefully packaged separately to ensure their protection during transit. Unfortunately, combined postage is unavailable for fragile items, and they are packed and charged separately. Our fragile shipping service includes transit protection insurance to safeguard your items.

International Shipping

While we don’t ship furniture collections internationally, smaller items can be shipped abroad. Contact us for a quote.

Transit Damages & Reporting

While we take every precaution to ensure items are securely packaged and protected during shipping, occasionally damage may occur during transit, which is beyond our control. Once items leave us they are in the hands of the courier company.

If you receive damaged goods, please:

Inspect the parcel upon receipt.

Report any damage to the courier immediately.

Contact us within 48 hours with images and details. Delivery insurance covers damages reported within this timeframe.
