    Australia-Wide Shipping

    We proudly offer nationwide furniture delivery across Australia, so you can bring beautifully handcrafted Sun Republic pieces into your home no matter where you live.

    Because our furniture is not mass-produced or flat-packed, shipping is handled a little differently.
    Each piece is solid, artisan-made, and often large, heavy or delicate, requiring specialist furniture carriers — not standard couriers.

    Why Shipping Can’t Be Calculated at Checkout

    Unlike flat-pack boxed furniture, our solid and handcrafted pieces vary greatly in size, shape, weight, and fragility.
    To ensure every item arrives safely and in perfect condition, we use experienced furniture freight companies who handle, wrap, and deliver each item with the care it deserves.

    Shipping costs can’t be auto-calculated at checkout because:

    • Each order is unique and requires a custom freight quote
    • Prices depend on your location, access conditions, and the specific piece(s) purchased

    We compare rates from multiple trusted delivery partners to find you the best value and safest option

    You’ll receive a shipping invoice separately after checkout, or you can request a quote before purchasing.
    We’re completely transparent, we don’t profit from freight. You pay exactly what our carrier charges.

    Delivery Options

    We offer two delivery options to suit your needs:

    Standard Delivery (Door to Door)

    • Delivered to your front door or ground-level entry
    • Ideal for customers who can assist with bringing furniture inside
    • Larger items may arrive on a pallet
    • Additional fees may apply for stairs, lifts, or restricted access

    White Glove Delivery (Premium Service)

    • For a truly seamless experience, our White Glove service includes:
    • Delivery directly into your home
    • Unpacking and light assembly (if required)
    • Placement in your desired room
    • Removal of all packaging and rubbish

    White Glove Delivery is available by request, simply contact us for a quote before ordering.

    How Shipping Costs Are Calculated

    Your furniture shipping cost is determined by several factors:

    • The size, weight, and material of your items
    • Delivery address and access conditions (stairs, lifts, or remote areas)
    • Your choice of Standard or White Glove delivery
    • Carrier pricing, which we source from our network of experienced freight partners

    We work closely with reliable, specialist carriers to ensure your order arrives in pristine condition, at the most reasonable rate possible.

    Important Notes

    • Furniture cannot be picked up from our Sydney studio.
    • Most furniture is pre-order or made-to-order and dispatched from our sister warehouse in Queensland.
    • Lead times are provided on each product page and may vary slightly depending on production and freight schedules.

    • In-stock furniture: Usually delivered within 7–14 business days.
    • Pre-order: Typically 8–12 weeks from order to delivery.
    • Made-to-order: Typically 16–20 weeks from order to delivery.
    • You’ll receive updates throughout the process so you know when your furniture will arrive.

    A: Delivery dates are coordinated with our carriers. White Glove service offers the most flexibility for timing.

    Q: What if my item doesn’t fit through doors or lifts?
    A: Standard delivery items may arrive on a pallet. Please ensure measurements allow for access. We cannot accept returns or exchanges if furniture does not fit. White Glove service includes advice and assistance where possible.

    Q: Is furniture delivery insured?
    A: Yes — all items are fully insured until they reach your door.
