Some initial shedding is normal and will settle over time.
Although Coir is naturally stain, rot and mildew resistant, like us, it doesn’t love to get its hair wet! Wherever possible, we recommend keeping your mat undercover and away from regular and direct rain. Saturation can cause the natural tannins of the fibres to change colour.
Each mat is hand-finished and painted meaning slight variations make your piece uniquely yours.
